With over 40 years combined communication and management experience, Coastal Connections is now the largest telecommunications Master Agency in the State of Maine, and one of the largest in the United States. We are a nationwide wholesale distributor of voice & data telecommunication services. Utilizing our reputation based upon several years of experience within the telecommunications industry, we have acquired unique agreements with
over 80 national, regional & local telecom carriers/providers offering wholesale voice and data solutions enhanced services and volume discounts.

We specialize in everything from (Local Dial Tone, Long Distance and Internet Services) to (Hosted Telephony, MPLS / Data Networking, Managed IT Security and Credit Card PCI Compliance).

We also have business alliances established with telephone equipment vendors, network & data service providers, merchant credit card providers, and wholesale electricity providers. Together, these services round out the monthly utility expenses of most business enterprises.

Coastal Connections was formed for the purpose of developing, operating and managing a new form of consulting organization committed to providing expert communication management services designed primarily for companies here in the State of Maine. Coastal Connections is not a carrier, rebiller, reseller, or representative for a single voice or internet provider and does not own or operate a company-owned network. Rather, we operate to allow our clients the freedom to choose from among many carrier options.

We use our purchasing power to negotiate special pricing and enhanced services with voice and data providers, thereby allowing our clients competitive products and value added services for which any individual company, acting alone, would not qualify. With so many local dialtone and internet carriers available in the marketplace, Coastal Connections’ unique approach is essential to our clients. Our function is somewhat like that of an independent broker, matching the clients up with the best company from among many choices; and because we are not a sales agent for only one carrier, we can recommend services from major carriers, regional carriers, inter-exchange carriers, or resellers objectively.

In a rapidly changing communications industry, Coastal Connections keeps apprised of developments which affect our clients. Coastal Connections is continuously seeking out new carriers and negotiating better rate plans with existing carriers on behalf of our clients. More specifically, we have and continue to review all commercial rate structures for all State of Maine legally tariffed carriers.
